Welcome to Harmony Martial Arts

Mission Statement

The mission of the Harmony Martial Arts Center is to provide students with the very highest level of martial arts education in a safe, positive, and uplifting environment. We believe that a student's character, humility, and compassion must grow in equal to or in greater portion to his or her ever increasing martial arts skills. Our student body is made up of children and adults from all walks of life. We do not train professional fighters. We train ordinary people with a desire to improve their physical fitness and who value the peace of mind and confidence that comes from the ability to defend themselves. Through rigorous physical training, we strive to strengthen our student's bodies, minds, and spirits in order to enhance their lives so that they, in turn, can positively affect their fellow man.

“We are the place to learn to fight for people who hope they will never have to.”

Getting started… Free Introductory lesson

We start every prospective new student with a FREE no obligation introductory private lesson (by appointment). You will receive one on one instruction with one of our highly skilled certified instructors.  During your private lesson you will get an overview of our system and learn the basic stances, movements, and strikes. This is your opportunity to discover for yourself why Harmony is consistently rated as one of the top Martial Art Schools in the country.    After your introductory lesson, if you are completely satisfied with your Harmony experience and would like to continue your training, you will then enter into our beginner level group classes.

From ages 7 to 70, we have students who get started from a wide variety of fitness levels and experience. We are experts at taking an average person with no experience and creating an extremely capable, fit and confident martial artist.   You may be surprised to find that classes are made up of students of all ages and from every conceivable background. We have students who are doctors, engineers, accountants and teachers.  Concerned that a class may be full of "tough guys" that might try to prove themselves at your expense? Not a chance at Harmony, our classes are made up of people just like you.

You may also be surprised to learn that our adult classes are typically about 50% female. Whether it’s in our TaeKwonDo, Krav Maga or Jiu-Jitsu program, training in the martial arts is a great workout. You will improve flexibility, tone muscles, and get an excellent cardiovascular workout, all while learning to defend yourself.  While conditioning your body you will also be strengthening and challenging your mind, building confidence, self discipline, and improved focus.
